Originally aired over 30 years ago on 9/24/1994 as Episode 1 of Season 1, this premiere episode sees the Mandarin's devious plan against Iron Man put into motion by using the supervillain Hypnotia to sink a Russian nuclear submarine with all hands onboard. A year later, the same submarine resurfaces as bait to lure Iron Man out but unbeknownst to him, the entire crew transformed into radioactive zombies! Iron Man can be seen together at the 13:59 timestamp of the episode and is noted J1 making it the first frame of the sequence. Iron Man's nearly full figure measures approximately 3.75" x 7.5" and is displayed with archival tape over a print background for presentation purposes. Purchased at Heritage Auctions.
