Q: | Which piece in your gallery is your favorite and why? |
A: | That would have to be our Iron Man and Captain America commission by John Byrne. To have someone of Byrne's legendary stature depict our favorite characters (Brendon's favorite is Cap, Brian's favorite is IM) is really a dream come true! |
Q: | Please tell us a little about yourself. |
A: | We are identical twin illustrators who are known for our covers and interior illustrations for KNIGHTS OF THE DINNER TABLE and Hero Games' line of Role-Playing Games. We illustrated the Harvey Award nominated ANTIQUES: The Comic Strip and drew the comic book sections in the Random House novel, WOLF BOY. We drew THE ODD SQUAD published by Devil's Due, the three-issue series VAMPIRE, PA with a new series coming soon from American Mythology, and KIDS OF THE ROUND TABLE from Action Lab Entertainment. Also, from American Mythology Productions, we are artists of THE THREE STOOGES comic and have been focusing most of our time on our creator owned book STARRING SONYA DEVEREAUX. We have contributed art to the OVERSTREET Free Comic Book Day comic from Gemstone for the past four years, as well as drawing sketch cards for Upper Deck (Marvel) and Cryptozoic (DC). We are also the artists for the six-part digital comic THE FLIGHT found at http://acesweekly.co.uk/ Visit our website at http://www.brosfraim.com We also do many fan commissions which many of you reading this have seen on CAF. |
Q: | How long have you been collecting comic art and what prompted you to start? |
A: | We've been collecting comic art for over 12 years. As artists, one of the perks of collecting is being able to study other artist's techniques and how they do what they do to better improve our work. |
Q: | How do you display/store your collection at home? |
A: | We hang some pieces on the wall in frames and in Itoya portfolios. |
Q: | What are your top five most wanted original pages or commissions? |
A: | If money was no object- 1. Iron Man and Captain America commission by Walt Simmonson. 2. Iron Man and Captain America commission by Bruce Timm. 3. The cover art to Tales of Suspense #59. 4. The cover art to Captain America #109. 5. Something cool from Mark Schultz. |
