Original final artwork by Brian Bysouth for the packaging box of Lady in White, the 1988 psychological horror directed by Frank LaLoggia. This lot comes from the personal collection of Brian Bysouth. Set in 1960s small-town America, the film follows a young boy who witnesses a ghostly apparition tied to a series of child murders, blending coming-of-age drama with supernatural mystery; it has since gained a cult following for its atmospheric storytelling and emotional depth. This artwork, used for the front packaging cover of physical releases of the film, features specific elements-such as Frankie Scarlatti, the Lady in White, the house, and the cemetery-that were later reused, and in some cases embellished, for various one-sheet designs, including those produced in Spain and Greece. The artwork is painted in gouache on an illustration board and signed by Bysouth in silver paint, with protective layers of plastic and paper adhered to the board that can be overlaid on the image.
