A fantastic action-heavy page featuring Batman in the middle of an intense fight sequence across Gotham City. I’ve always loved Ivan Reis’ dynamic storytelling and cinematic layouts, and this page is a perfect example of his ability to combine movement, scale and detail.

What makes this piece especially interesting to me is seeing the raw pencils before inks and colors. The energy, construction and composition are all there, giving a great look into Reis’ artistic process.
