Ming the merciless Action head from Playboy magazine!

When the Flash Gordon movie came out in 1980 - Playboy did a feature on it with of course mainly photos of the women in it -  their approach was to put the photos in Alex Raymond style drawings . Included was a cut out action head of Ming the merciless similar to the type of giveaways used in the 1930's and 1940's (my freind premium designer fred Voges did a lot of these)    The blacnk and white art is ink on a mylar overlay with the background colors done in pantene or watercolor of board 



I got this fro mthe estate of my friend ron Villani and it comes with full provenance and a clip of the page from the magazine
