This signature study of a brooding Batman and Bat-logo was designed and illustrated by Brazilian Eisner Award-winning legend Rafael Grampa as a preliminary study for his cover of Batman: Black and White, which was later turned into a statue by Jean St. Jean. 
Grampa is well known for his collaboration with Frank Miller on The Dark Knight Returns - The Golden Child, and for his work on Mesmo Delivery, Dear Logan and Hellblazer.
