I have very little information on this illustration. There is some handwriting at the bottom that appears to say "Part V: Hola mes braves," page 47. The rest is illegible. Date unknown.



Measures 5.5" x 8.25" and appears to be rendered in pencil and ink wash.



I strongly recommend the book "Drawing from History,The Forgotten Art of Fortunino Matania, a thorough compilation and analysis of his life's work.
