Looks the part! Thole is such a provocative artist in fantasy and sci-fi that this horror piece has bit of both influences.

Thanks, Marcus. Many of the figures depicted in horror or fantasy paintings look somewhat artificial. This executioner by Karel Thole looks like he stepped right out of real life.
