Beavis and Butthead Illustration Original Art from MTV's Lead Artist

What makes these two drawings of Beavis and Butt-Head distinctive is artist Rick Parker's highly graphic depictions. Parker was the lead artist on Marvel’s adaptation of MTV’s iconic animated duo, whose crude, raunchy, dim-witted behavior made them pop-culture disruptors. In the present work, which consists of two separate drawings, he surrounds both subjects with their signature cackles and sneers. The typography part of the work projects off the page, becoming an abstract visual equivalent of sound.
