Olivia only did a few of these., She said it could be as early as early 1980s. She did two after this of Cindy Deguerre (Piercing the Veil, Stiletto model) but this was much earlier. Olivia is fairly known for her cat characters especially during this time.
I am only the second owner of this piece and the original owner purchased it directly from Olivia and Tamara Bane Gallery in Beverly Hills. She stares right at you. The background is painted. Some Airbrush and goache most likely. Signed OLIVIA lower left.
This is a personal piece I am selling at a great price for a trip to Italy. It is GORGEOUS and was framed in Tru Vu non-glare conservation glass by original owner. The black "shiny vinyl" frame part in one area has separated bottom piece and could easily be reglued or get a new frame. It is nicely matted see photos.. It is a WOOD frame underneath. I just don't want to fuss with it at moment. Otherwise pristine. See back. Image is 17.25 x 12 inches in matte area on board. Conservation glass Framed to 27.5" x 22.5 inches. Buy framed or unframed.
Asking $3000 plus actual shipping. I do not make money on shipping. You get the non glare museum framed glass and frame as is. I can also remove from frame but it is probably small enough to ship with glass. Your call. But I like to remove glass and ship separately. Ready to hang however.
I am not sure if this is published but I think she did publish one of these. It is beautiful. I can probably also get a COA if you really desire one from Robert Bane. He will charge $100 bucks for one but he lives faiily nearby.
