Description

For the CAL 13 mystery sketches, I gave artists a list of Marvel characters to choose from. EV Cantada from Next Comic Art produced this cool sketch card of Jack of Hearts, who is making the Korean heart symbol with his right hand. EV's rendering of Jack of Hearts reminds of how he was depicted by Keith Giffen and Rico Rival in this first full appearance in The Deadly Hands of Kung Fu 22.

For a mystery sketch, it's a character that can't be refused!  Good thing Cantada was will to go through with it without shortcuts!

It's quite ambitious to do jack of hearts as a sketch card but the artist pulls if off in a fantastic manor
