Exceptional Hogarth Tarzan Sunday! One of the best strip art pieces (for my tastes/eye) I've seen posted to CAF. Great tribute to your father my friend! That was the golden era of our dad's watching Tarzan and Flash Gordon and Westerns. I also love the Tarzan films and the really early ones are great but for some reason Tarzan's New York Adventure sticks in my head with boy being taken and Johnny jumping off the bridge. Congrats! To me your BEST piece and tied to a memory of a great Dad!
This need to get framed as it is classic wall power! Hogarth is the grand daddy of dynamic figure drawing and no better demonstration of it than these Sunday Tarzan strips.
I love the fact that you waited until you got one with a giant ape in it. That's such a classic Tarzan trope! Even better, they fight each other here, AND become best friends by the time it ends!
