Published about a month before Smith's untimely death in a car accident.While the dailies focused on the family drama of the Gumps, the Sundays gave over to the fantastical adventure dreams of Chester, their son.Many of the Sundays in the 1920's were ghosted by Stanley Link, but after Link started on Tiny Tim in the early 1930's, Smith took over most of the Sunday work, supported by assistants.
