Description

A very eerie cover with a family of victims threatening to haunt an evil nazi general until the end of time. This was used for a paperback book released immediately after the historic trial. Bill Edwards is more known for his artwork involving beautiful women or cowboys, but this is perhaps one of his most powerful paintings.

The interior of the book included several black-and-white pictures by Monte Rogers, one of which is shown in the additional images here.

It's a shocking, haunting image, and an extraordinary representation for the time. The use of strong reds and oranges sets off the tones in the face so well.

That backgroud is intense. And I wonder if it was the editor's idea or Bill's idea to depict the victims that way. It's very powerful.
