Pocahontas preliminary drawing by Glen Keane

I bought this from an ex-Disney animator.  He says the 4 tiny pricks in the corner are from the thumbtacks used to post the drawing.  I'm a bit sad having learned how Disney white-washed and romanticized Pocahontas real story.  She was raped and sex-trafficked at 12 years old by the white settlers.  The executives decided to hide/forget all that and made her into a pin-up adult.  A friend is writing her thesis on the real story of Pocahontas as well as how Disney decided to cover all that up.  The meetings when about developing Pocahontas' look said they told Keane to make her look sexier even though they knew the real story.  In the end, she was MURDERED.  She did not die of smallpox.  She was MURDERED.
