Gotta love that a lot of the golden age history was not abandoned after Crisis and there is still space to incorporate the past int he new DC timeline. Ordway is a great choice for the historical aspects of these teams.
Oh man, amen to that. While nothing is perfect, and you won't make everyone happy, I always loved the way they kept and adapted/integrated the Golden Age characters into the DCU post-Crisis. Definitely was a huge hole for New 52 era. Forever grateful to Geoff Johns for bringing them back in Rebirth, Doomsday Clock, and subsequent New Golden Age. Let's just hope DC has learned it's lesson and keeps them around.

Oh man, I remember reading my first All-Star Squadron comic as a kid. It was one that Jerry was doing the art on. I remember just being amazed. He seemed to truly transport you back to the WWII era. None like him.
