This is the original marker illustration for the Mr. Smee sketch card, created for the upcoming Peter Pan trading card set by Master Piece Cards.

The artwork draws directly from J.M. Barrie’s original text, portraying the character as a pathetic, oddly gentle-mannered old Irishman who remains entirely dangerous. The illustration features a tight, focused portrait rendered with an expressive marker palette.
