Void Rivals #25 Pg 22 - Darak & Handroid Enter The Quintesson War

Void Rivals #25 marked the first chapter of The Quintesson War, which served as a major status quo shakeup for this sci fi opera series. Here we see Darak "asleep at the wheel" in the cockpit of his ship. Handriod wakes him up as his wingmen approach to then all enter the fray with the invading Quintessons.

This story arc was quite fun and moved quick, leading to a not as fun month to month read because the action was so fast, it felt like not enough story to hold us over for 30 days. Now that it is complete, I am really looking forward to revisitng it in whole. 

Bressan's art really added some grit to the series that I personally felt it needed for this particular arc. Plus, finally getting traditionally produced Void Rivals interiors for the first time was a long time coming (Issues 1-24 were created digitally).

In addition, anytime you get a nice page set in space with all of that glorious black ink of space speckled with stars & ships....sign me up!
