Original artwork created by Gilles Francescano for the cover of Shadow of the Comet, the acclaimed horror adventure video game released in 1993 and considered one of the major classics inspired by the Cthulhu Mythos.

An internationally renowned French artist, Gilles Francescano is a leading figure in science fiction and fantasy illustration. His work has received numerous prestigious awards, including:

Eurocon “Spirit of Dedication” Award (Jersey, 1993)
World Science Fiction Award – Best of Show (Glasgow, 1995)
International Airbrush Award (Castrop-Rauxel, 1996)

He is also the creator of the original cover illustration for the legendary game Alone in the Dark (1992), widely regarded as one of the pioneering titles of modern survival horror.
