As I wandered artist alley at HeroesCon, I stumbled upon Samuel Dean (@monarchaea) in the Indie Alley section. He had drawn these long, spindly, creepy characters that reminded me of an elongated Mike Mignola style.
Not only was he selling Baeloch (his creator owned comic starring the last goblin alive), but he was running a con special on commissions of goblin-styled characters. He said that it was his first time taking such commissions at a con, yet was still excited about taking a stab at Rhino.
I suppose Rhino looks a bit goblin-esque on his best days, as he fits in with the rest of my collection aside from the green tint. I really like the extended ears and tiny gold hoops; I could totally see Rhino rocking those on an updated costume.
Highly recommend his work, especially if you want something a bit unsettling.
