Lobo standee art/ House ad

Frag'em all!

With the Supergirl movie being released this week and the Lobo making his big screen debut, I thought I bust out this big image of the main man himself. 

From 1993 comes this outstanding image used as both a house ad and a Lobo standee used as a display piece in comic stores. The Lobo display piece was not small, it was almost 5 feet tall, measuring a whopping 30X56!

House ads are my favorite subgenres of comic.art. it come from reading a whole bunch of back issues with wonderful house ads. Ads of comics I was never going to buy. The possibilities were endless but the pockets were not. However I did buy this monthly and enjoyed it thoroughly. Val, John Dell.and Alan Grant created a deliciously fun comic with humor and action. My thanks to Val for selling me this tremendous piece. 

The original art measured. 15½X26 in a single piece of board. It is quite impressive.

Ps. Val mentioned when they found this piece it had been folded and fit into a drawer. There is a crease about 2/3 of the way down. Doesn't matter it's still a great piece.
