Zatanna Sketch Card

A completed entry from the live commission showcase stream series on Whatnot. I executed this unique, 1-of-1 hand-drawn original Zatanna sketch card completely live on camera from scratch.

The character and concept prompt were selected entirely by the live auction winner, Jet_Tone. The artwork is handled traditionally using multi-layered markers, fine liners, and high-contrast mixed-media highlights. The narrative composition depicts the backward-spelling stage magician casually using her magic to incinerate a custom "Duke" branded sketch card. The design relies on a moody chiaroscuro scheme, utilizing a cold, blue library background to emphasize the warm, explosive magical light radiating from her hand.
