Swords of the Swashbucklers #1 (1985) page 27: She's on fire

This page exemplifies the paradox of Epic Comics in the mid 1980s. On the one hand, it's an imprint of Marvel Comics, using a writer (Bill Mantlo) and artist (Butch Guice) who produced other work for Marvel. This series is about a thirteen year old human girl and her cat, who join friendly space pirates to rescue her kidnapped parents, whom she still calls "mommy and daddy" on this page. Standard Marvel kiddie adventure fare, except that said girl is running around fighting aliens naked thanks to her elemental super-powers having burned off her clothes.

Guice resorts to dubious, strategically shaped shadows to keep the result within the bounds of the Comics Code (which technically did not apply to Epic Comics), common propriety (which should apply), and federal decency laws (which certainly applied). Only in the following issue does Domino Drake acquire a flame-proof costume, and by the end of the series she'll be executing her enemies by the score.

That aside, the bottom panel has a terrific image of the fearsome cat Cap'n Kidd joining the fracas. Guice's work would become progressively illustrative rather than cartoonish over the next thirty years, and a suggestion of that future can be seen here. Butch inked his own pencils on the first four issues of this series before departing to debut X-Factor with Bob Layton.
