Rhino - Greg Land

I find that Greg is exceptional at hyper-realistic superhero poses. I think that he shows power and might really well, and that his poses could make pretty cool statues. There is also something about his eyes (perhaps the shadowing) that makes them appear more real than those of other artists.

Here, I like how Rhino is glaring at us out of the corner of his eye. It is like he caught us hiding behind rubble and is now deciding whether or not to smash.

It was cool to catch Greg’s work in progress when I was trying to relieve my HeroesCon fun (check out 2:00). Greg doesn’t draw him often, but recognizes that Rhino rocks!
