7.25x20.25" thin artboard contains original art pencils and inks for the Jan. 1, 1963 Bullwinkle daily comic strip. Strip features main characters Rocky and Bullwinkle w/Natasha and Boris. Rocky and Bullwinkle are dressed as Father Time and Baby New Year. Boris holds a 1927 sign and Natasha corrects him that it's 1963. Original art is by Alfred R. Kilgore (1927-1983), who signed his work Al Kilgore, was an American artist who worked on the Bullwinkle comic strip for the Bell-McClure Syndicate between 1962 and 1967. A syndicated daily newspaper comic strip titled Bullwinkle which began on July 23, 1962 w/original stories that ran until 1965. Artboard has lt. aging/handling wear.
