13.75x21" artboard features pen and ink original art by Ernie Colón (1931-2019) w/inks by Marie Severin (1929-2018) for page 22 of Star Wars: Droids #6, published by Marvel Comics (as part of their Star Comics line) Feb. 1987. Page features seven panels, showing R2-D2 being pursued across the Tatooine desert by Sand People (aka Tusken Raiders), scaring them off by projecting giant image of C-3PO. This is part of "The Star Wars Adventures: Part II - 'The Force'," a retelling of the first Star Wars film. R2-D2 appears in five panels while the C-3PO projection appears in two panels. Top margin has large "The Droids" inkstamp title w/smaller inked "Droids" name and issue/page numbers. Back has Marvel copyright stamp. Art remains clean and Exc.
