Key page for the iconic Alan Moore run on Swamp Thing.  One of Alan Moore’s key contributions to Swamp Thing (and DC comics in general) was that he fundamentally changed the nature of Swamp Thing from being a man who turned into a monster to having him be “from the Green”.  Doing so changed Swamp Things motivations and made him truely horrific and alien.  In this scene, Swamp Thing is having an existential crisis during his battle with Floronic Man as he realizes he is not a man like he had thought.
