Description

Spider-Ben! Spider-Ben! Dodges a Goblin bomb whenever he can!

When I got that Ben Reilly in a classic sticky pose, I thought of another idea & got this one made, as well. A dynamic, web swinging Sensational Spidey! It's no secret I really like Colton Worley's vibrant color work and European painterly style. They just match so well with those iconic American comic book heroes.

Here, we have that cool twisted mid-swing switch while Ben is ducking away from a goblin bomb. It's a great nod to his final fight in Spider-Man #75 (1996) with the Green Goblin. Well, final fight before Marvel introduced all those shenanigans...

Another fun element was that during the painting process, we still "collaborated". The explosion was a last minute idea on my end.

This beauty is 11x17 in size and this is oil on canvas.

Very nice deep and intense colors!  Worley is working on these darker nighttime environments that heightens the drama of the action!
