Kenneth James Stuart, Art Director Saturday Evening Post this was in his personal collection.
From the Sasturday evening post short biography: "Ken Stuart (1905-1993) was a longtime art director for The Saturday Evening Post. He studied at both the Pennsylvania Academy of Art and l’Academie Colarossi located in Paris. Stuart was a freelance cartoonist in additional to creating illustrations for ads and magazine covers.
In 1943 Stuart became the art director at The Saturday Evening Post. He worked side by side with Norman Rockwell for18 years. Rockwell has even been quoted as saying he wouldn’t have been the artist he became without Stuart.
Stuart then went on to become art director at Reader’s Digest. He died in Wilton Connecticut at age 87.
He created four covers for The Saturday Evening Post."
In addition he had several interior illustations. this was from a series called "People You Know" in which he did each of the illustrations in 1943. Specifically this is found in the April 3, 1943 interior of the Saturday evening post. this was in his personal collection until I purchesed it in 2026.

Harold LeClair Ickes (/ˈɪkÉ™s/ IK-É™s; March 15, 1874 – February 3, 1952) was an American administrator, politician and lawyer. He served as United States Secretary of the Interior for nearly 13 years from 1933 to 1946, the longest tenure of anyone to hold the office, and the second longest-serving Cabinet member in U.S. history after James Wilson. Ickes and Labor Secretary Frances Perkins were the only original members of the Roosevelt Cabinet who remained in office for his entire presidency.
Ickes was responsible for implementing many of President Franklin D. Roosevelt's New Deal programs. He was in charge of the Public Works Administration, a major relief program, and led the federal government's environmental efforts.
In his day, he was considered a prominent liberal spokesman, a skillful orator and a noted supporter of many African-American causes, although he at times yielded to political expediency where state-level segregation was concerned. Before his national-level political career, in which he did remove segregation in areas of his direct control, he had been the president of the Chicago NAACP.
