DescriptionI took this shot in Mignola's studio in his at-the-time apartment in Greenwich Village, NYC. This was in mid-July, 1991, and on the drawing board at the time was a partially pencilled page from Ted McKeever's Eddy Current back-up that ran in his Metropol book (issue 9, to be precise). They ran this photo in Amazing Heroes 196, my interview with Mignola, and then it was used again in Comics Journal 189 (nearly 5 years later) with Christopher Brayshaw's interview with him.Social/Sharing |

Nice eclectic mix of bric-a-brac, just like any studio should have. Not sure about the shirt unbuttoned down to his navel though. ;-) Thanks for this glimpse into Mike's studio!
