Common Grounds was a six issue miniseries written by Troy Hickman which was set in a chain of coffee shops frequented by super-powered beings. Each issue featured two stories, one drawn by a guest art team, the other by Dan Jurgens & Al Vey. It was a fun series, and I'd certainly like to see it return one of these days. Obviously this fit squarely into my coffee-drinking art theme, so I'd been on the lookout for pages from this title. I picked this one up at the Javits show from Jurgens' art rep Spencer Beck.
