Description

I have been searching for a page from the Brian Li Sung saga, published in Grendel 13 - 15, for years. Many years. Just as the slick and stylish art of the Pander Brothers jarred many a Grendel fan used to the swoopey, fat lines of Matt Wagner, Bernie Mireault shocked everyone with his gritty, dirty interpretation of the character. Oh, if only I could get my hands on a cover.

This storyline is well and truly forgotten but its probably one of the best things to come out of the Grendel series. It must be unusual to get one with a Grendel mask in it as well.
