Description

Many of the background paintings and publicity drawings done by Disney artists during the early 1930s included framed paintings with humorous subjects hanging on interior walls of the leading characters' homes. Here we can see an image of Ambrose Kitten's father... well, at least the south end of Daddy, as he jumps off of a wall to escape a boot which is headed his way. At least this was a marginally more dignified pose than what is seen in images of the father of the Three Little Pigs, variously shown as links of sausage, a football, or other disturbing incarnations.
