You'd be hard pressed to find a nicer two page origin sequence of a major DC Character. Plus, I absolutely love Reis on GL. Beautiful pages - Congratulations!

Artemis, I think this is one of the best origin spreads. THe ones that beat it out would be the Adam Hughes Wonder Woman, Gary Frank Superman, Brian Bolland's Zat and Joker, Joe Benitez Starfire, and Stephane Roux Poison Ivy.

I think Ivan Reis is one of the best artists working for DC today. This spread looks GREAT btw.

Sam, Thanks. When I saw the spread, I contacted Spencer and made him an offer. He promised to get it for me for 600. I thought it was high at the time but now considering how big a talent Ivan is and the GL movie, I consider it a steal

I agree.  But remember, I posted this quite a while ago.  Pre-blackest night and such.   with all he's done for aquaman and now Superman, he is definitely a legend
