Description

This was a newspaper illustration; notes at the top indicate it was published on May 30, 1926. It's quite large, 23" x 29" and very striking in person. If anyone has any idea where this was published, please let me know. To me, it looks like his art could have been an influence on Roy Krenkel as well as others.

This is simply astounding! Smith is so underrated & you almost never see his originals. This is the finest original I have ever seen. Thanks so much for sharing it!
