Description

This is the Sunday art for Dick Tracy, dated 8/10/47. Sundays from the 40s are extraordinarily rare -- very few have ever surfaced. Chester Gould at his best. Ol' Coffee Head is up to no good, and comes up with an ingenious way to knock off those pesky do-gooder crime-stopper kids. He locks them in a bathroom and passes lethal gas through the radiators. E gad!! Gould was one sick puppy . . .
