Description
My good friend Sy Schechter received this piece from Billy DeBeck in person, in 1935. Sy met DeBeck through Babe Ruth, of all people, after meeting Ruth at a Yankees spring training game in St. Petersburg, Florida. I acquired this piece after Sy passed away a few years ago. It's a very nice reminder of our friendship, as it was a piece that he truly treasured.
