Description

I'm not at the San Diego Comic-Con this year. But if you went in 1991, you could have bought this page before I did.

The very last Green Lantern page by Adams. He didn't draw the continuation of this mushroom story.

Flash 226 was probably one of my earliest Flash and Green Lantern stories. And definitely my first Adams Green Lantern story. No social commentary, but I think this story had the best Adams GL art ever.

Green Lantern was created by Bill Finger and Martin Nodell.

Congratulations. ANY Neal Adams Green Lantern page is a great page. In fact, I don't think there was a single one at San Diego 2007. I did see a few great Neal Adams covers at great prices. Probably the most interesting prospect was the back cover to the Green Lantern paperback. The drawing was a near cover size recreation of the famous MLK, RFK panel from GL 76. It was gorgeous, but the 35K was a leetle bit tooooooooo much for me. How come I didn't see this at San Diego 91? You must have bought it on the first day.

No social commentary? What about, "People on 'shrooms' should not drive."

Yes, it's quite a low-key conclusion to the GL/GA storyline, but it's still very charming! And Neal Adams does a pristine job, of course!...
