Description
The crown jewel of my trip to SDCC 2007. Jim Lee and Scott Williams did some stellar work on the Heroes Reborn reboot of Fantastic Four, which got me interested in the FF in the first place. Never thought I'd actually own the page where the Fantastic Four first appear in costume, but through some very fortuitous timing, it became a reality. Suffice it to say, this page won't be leaving my collection anytime soon.

Many, many thanks to the fantastic Scott Williams for this page!

I wish I had replied to your comment when you first posted it, but I completely agree with the two of you. I think Jim and Scott were at their best during their FF run (not to discredit their other work together).

Beautiful Fantastic Four page by the esteemed team of Jim Lee and Scott Williams. That third panel with the whole team is drop-dead gorgeous.

KA-zounds!!  SPECTACULAR page here, Kin.  You can't ask for a bigger, better, bolder reveal of Marvel's First Family in costume than this.  What luck that there was that roll of electrician's tape floating around so that the gang could create their "4" logos... :) Fantastic Four by 3M! :)  This first Heroes Reborn launch preceded the Ultimate universe by only a couple years, but their mission and approach was the same: to revamp and recharge these outstanding properties via beautiful art and awesome storytelling to get back to the basics.  Jim Lee's FF was head and shoulders above the rest, and I still think about it (and love it) to this day.  Just all kinds of awesomeness to take in here.  Congrats on this epic pick up, Kin!
