Description

       I bought this page from Mark Hay at Splash Page Comic Art. Later, I saw Dave at the booth and got the page signed. Dave says these were warm up drawings before working on storyboards for the Supergirl vs. the Legion of Super-Heroes episode of JLU.

       Dave directed the video apaptation of Darwyn Cooke's New Frontier after working as a storyboard artist on many of the WB series. He directed episodes of Lucasfilm Animation's Star Wars Clone Wars and Sony's Spider-Man cartoon.

       I first met Dave at San Francisco's Animation On Display con in 2006 where he drew this Kim Possible sketch for me. Along with a couple friends a few months later, Dave gave us a tour of Skywalker Ranch while he was working on Clone Wars.
