Description

First comic convention I ever went to I had a chance to meet Mr. Nolan. He was just coming off the Hawk series and getting ready to pick up his run on Detective. Because of that... everyone was asking for Batman sketches. When it became MY turn, I asked him to draw whatever he would like from the Hawkman/world series. This image is what he turned out and I've been very pleased ever since. I think that I prefer his work on Hawkman/World to what he created for Detective. Obviously both were similar, but his style felt more natural with the Hawks.
