What a find...a great 1974 perfect watercolor specialty piece...I hope the scan shows off its superb shading and blending... a wonderful example of Wrightson's mastery. I've had a lot of Wrightson works but this I've kept. I think his full power with color and ink and brush is evident here!

What can one say when beholding a masterpiece? Seeing these earlier works when Bernie's attention to detail and color were only matched by his intensely vivid imagination! What an incredible find...

Jawdropping color illustration by the legendary Bernie Wrightson. The brushwork is simply amazing. Love Bernie's use of color here. All in all, another Wrightson masterpiece!
