i love the energy of this piece. this stands as one of the finest commissions i've seen from Finch in recent history. Congrats Dave.

woo thats dark'n'gritty ! just wondering why it says dark night falls. shouldnt it be called the man with the big S falls ??? :)

Finch is insanely awesome, I'm sure Mark would do an awesome job inking this, but I would love to see Miki's inks on this.

You have one of the coolest collections I have ever seen. You have chosen well! I have to admit I find David Finch to be one of the most overrated artists, but this piece is his best.

I think he's one of the best, cause his style just stands out from everyone else's.I'd have to agree with Jeff when his comment was made originally in 2008; this piece alone has some anatomy issues (supes head looks a bit small for the body, Batman's vaulting hand looks a bit large), but in the years since, he has really honed his skills. I also believe Finch's pencils shine under the right inker's deft hand. In the past couple years, Finch has come into his own and his art looks much better than in years past. I must admit I buy the BM:Dark Knight series because of the art team of Finch and Friend.
