Descriptionthe early 90's "Legend" imprint at DarkHorse was featured on Wizard # 31's cover, with Frank Miller's Sin City characters, Mike Mignola's Hellboy,Paul Chadwick's Concrete, Frank Miller & Dave Gibbon's Martha Washington, among others...back when comic-artists could play nice together..back when everyone wanted to be the new "IMAGE" comics..and this was Art Adams part of the cover..the debut of his own creator owned characters.....( thanks to Eric Delos Santos for the trade ) Social/Sharing |

Ahhh, playing nice... I briefly owned the Mignola Hellboy that went with this piece. The previous owner had tried for years to get all the original art... he had everything but Miller's (who absolutely refused to sell) and eventually broke down and sold them all off again. Just not playing nice together....

Best Apes Artist Ever, period. Better than Cho, and (and I say this at my own risk, comic artist's God could stike me with a lightnin gfor this) even better than Frazetta.
