This is an 8”x11” cartoon by James Lindensmith. The reverse shows Lindensmith’s address and a big stamp saying, “BOUGHT!”. It doesn’t indicate by who. Otherwise it can’t be dated at present except by the fact that the address is in “Glendale 8” and has no zip code and the style of the bride which indicates early 1960’s. This was purchased from Lewis Wayne Galleries who simply described him as an artist who did cartoons for men’s magazines in the 1960’s.
