A Distant Soil #27 original Cover painting

ORIGINAL COVER ART from the IMAGE COMICS edition of A Distant Soil circa 1998. Artist/creator Colleen Doran (Friendly Neighborhood Spiderman, Sandman) has spent many years working on her funky, cracktastic tale of aliens, their love lives, and the fabulous clothes they wear.

This original painting measures about 10"x16", and is in supreme condition, with no flaws whatsoever. VERY bright and clean color in archival watercolor and gouache paints. A handsome, clean image,. Striking! One of the best covers in the series, from A Distant Soil #27. Paintings of this quality by Colleen don't usually go on the market. And certainly not at auction for this low minimum bid. But it's time to buy a new scanner, and its got to go!

Shipping is very safe. All of my art is shipped in brand new poly jet packs, that cost $3 each. Art is slipped into acid free sleeves, and backed with acid free art boards. The packaging alone is a $6 value. All packaging is re-usable.

IF YOU WANT THIS FRAMED, I can ship this FULLY FRAMED AND MATTED for an additional $60. If you do not want it framed, the shipping is $10. There is a tiny flaw on the frame you would have to really look hard to see. Wouldn't worry about it if I were you. Custom framing for art costs a lot more than $60, and this is ready to go. I can't scan the framed image, it is too large, but the frame is a steel frame that matches Seren's jacket (Seren is the one with silver hair), and the mat is a similar color to the marble wall. Foreign shipping for the framed image, naturally, would have to cost a good deal more based on the weight of the box. Please inquire.
