Description

Steve Rude was one of the guests at Minnesota's FallCon in October 2007. We had a conversation on the first day (when his sketchlist was full) about his admiring Al Williamson's collection of RIP KIRBY originals, and how Steve preferred the way in which Raymond depicted Honey in the early days of the strip over how Raymond depicted her in the latter years. On the last day of the show, I managed to be on his sketch list and request this beauty. Steve did it all by artistic memory of Raymond's work -- and with no reference!
