Description

Bought via a seller on rec.arts.comics.marketplace (pre-ebay) for the amazingly low price of $35 (1997). I couldn't believe I got a Grell/Austin splash for that cheap. At the time RACMP was very busy and this must have gotten lost amidst the other sales. Signed in person by Grell, bought already signed by Austin.

I no longer own this page - I traded this to a dealer in San Diego in summer 2008 for the Karate Kid cover elsewhere in this gallery. It eventually sold on ComicLink in August 2011 for $1,211 (including buyer's premium), and then sold on Heritage in November 2024 for $5,520 (including BP).

Yeah, that is a pretty decent pickup for 35$!

I no longer own this page, but I really like it anyway. I traded it in 2008 straight up for the cover to Karate Kid #5, which you can see elsewhere in my gallery.
