Description(Obtained from Marc Mokken at Rijswijk NL 2008). Chris Weston calls this pencils - though it's pen and so lush and rich and beautiful, far better than this photo depicts. In the case of this Mr. Weston Brian Bolland is often refered to, which neither minds one bit as I understand. To me Bollands work generally stands out as clear-lined, like chiseled from marble, refined as opera. And while Weston's art seems capable to remind of this, it so often has an able swiftness to it as well, or rawness even. Especially his Batman story, for me more so than Ministry which strikes me as being a bit more 'worked-upon' although still great of course, as we so must see more of his. WE MUST! dare i say this page reminds me of british artwork. maybe it's the detail... anyway. great page here!

Daring but very true I should think, my fellow Artfan, mr. Weston residing on that very continent (though German-born), also having been tutored by Don Lawrence.
