That is the same piece as the one stolen from me. Just the signature was erased and added on the left side, also somebody erased a few leaves on the branch and in the water. Compare the lines, that is the same thing ... The name is Jens btw, it is a german/scandinavian male first name ;)

i agree the images are the same although there are some differences. i have looked closely for any signs of physical alteration on the page i own and there is no evidence of anything being erased or moved. i wonder if the scan you have was doctored and it was a false auction you bid on. i have sent you an email, hopefully we can figure this out.

I got it for free as a convention sketch into my sketchbook and then cut it out. It is almost square and the paper is slightly thicker than xerox paper and not completely white but it is not as thick as normal drawing paper/card board .. pretty thin overall. I cut it out with a cuter or scissors on the left side I believe, so that side is probably not completely straight. I do not expect you to return it or the money but maybe we can find the guy who cheated me for the money. Jens

btw: it seems like Hosh signed all his work in the bottom RIGHT corner, so that is another indication that it is erased and added again .. or maybe it is a digitally changed print? but then you said you see indentations of the pencil ...

final note on this from me. i contacted josh and he did a photoshop overlay of the two pieces and says they are the same. mine is print that fooled me. it is not until i try and erase some of the pencils(as josh suggested) that it becomes clear the pencils are not true. even looking at the piece close up and knowing what i know, i can't tell. yikes. the kevin chow listed above apparently got kicked off ebay for taking images from caf and selling prints of them as originals. it is possible that the guy that sold me this piece was duped or he knowingly sold me this piece (him and kevin live pretty close together). take this whole exercise as a lesson i learned the hardway and perhaps you can be a wiser collector from it.

Holy Moly, that's scary. If you think the seller knowingly sold you fake art, it would be great to have his ebay name so we can avoid him like the plague!!

Well that Kevin Chows ebay name was something with axeforce in it but it is not being used anymore anyways
